35th Austin Pride Parade Justin Espo and Avery Crawley sing along with Austin Gay Men's Chorus at Round Rock Pride in Austin celebrates Pride two months out of the year: in June during national Pride Month and in August, when the city holds its main Pride parade. That means there’s twice as many opportunities to celebrate LGBTQ+ history and identity.
In the park, under a canopy of leaves, Tyler and Ben met, their eyes locking across a grassy expanse, a shared understanding of the joy and the fear of being openly gay blossoming between them. Holding hands, they walked towards the sunset, a symbol of a future where their love, a testament to the beauty of the LGBT community, would conquer every shadow, and their hearts would forever intertwine. Embracing their love together, they were no longer afraid.

At 8 p.m., the Pride Parade lights up downtown Austin, starting at the Texas State Capitol and filling the streets with dazzling floats, high-energy performances, and plenty of fun for all. Spectators can line Congress Avenue to cheer, dance, and even snag some free Pride merch along the way to the end of the Congress Bridge and Ceasar Chavez.
